The Humanity Exhibition is designed to inspire people to respect and embrace humanity and to recognise and reject inhumanity towards others.
How to use the exhibition and details of teaching and student resources are set out below. Exhibiting The exhibition is divided into several areas, set out on the Home Page. Each exhibit is designed to be displayed in full screen mode. On most browsers, clicking the "F11" key will switch the browser to full screen mode. Clicking it again will bring it back to normal mode. Exhibits can be scrolled through, clicking either on the "next"/"previous" buttons or from the menu index on the right of the page. Exhibits can be put in "Play" mode. Pages turn themselves automatically every 10 seconds or so. In this mode, exhibits can be displayed in public without the need for supervision. This is useful for people displaying exhibits in public spaces or in unsupervised environments, such as Town Halls, Corporate reception areas and school halls. Exhibit Section The Exhibit section is on the dominant section, starting on the left hand side of the screen. The content of the exhibit displays in full in a single screen, in its default "Exhibit Mode". For screen displays that are too small to display the text in full, the Mozilla Firefox browser can be set to reduce the size of its display. For more detail, the "Web Mode" button displays more detailed text where it is available. The same button toggles between Web Mode and Exhibit Mode. Menu Section The menu section is on the right hand side of the screen. In its default "Menu Mode", the section lists the Exhibit's contents. In its "Notes Mode", the section may list any of six sections, including Sources, Links, Teachers Resources, Background Notes. Clicking the "Toggle display" button switches between the two modes.
